The artist wrote: “I started a daily drawing practice January 1st, 2020. it was great practice for being in quarantine. what has evolved is an almost automatic drawing experience. i just begin making marks, abstractly, and see what my unconscious reveals…abstract narratives.
The drawings can be read from landscape or portrait mode–to greater or lesser extent. This is the most recent drawing, done over three days, three sittings, finished this afternoon. i’m calling it rushless.”
